Veteran Medical Group (VMG) specializes in providing concise Independent medical evaluation’s primarily for Veterans and other claimants in need of an expert evaluations. Our mission is to find caring healthcare professionals who are looking for a non-clinical option in evaluating claimants for compensation and pension. We expect to expand our provider network tenfold to meet the anticipated demands of Disability Examinations, for veterans and claimants worldwide.
Sarpoma Sefa-Boakye, MD, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with Expertise in Global Medicine and Medical Legal documentation. She was voted Top Doctor San Diego in 2017 and is well known for her work, featured on BBC World News, USA Today, NPR, ESSENCE, and WIRED Magazine. She also received an honorable mention from former Secretary of the United States Colin Powell to complete her Doctoral Medical training in Cuba. She co-founded the Veteran Medical Group ®️ Inc with her Husband, a Retired Marine. They created VMG VA Disability Method © and VA Disability Provider live and online training program with headquarters in Oceanside, California. The program aims to train Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to complete Medical Disability evaluations (MDE) for Veteran Affairs efficiently and successfully. Dr.Sefa-Boakye has over ten years of experience as a Medical Quality Assurance Analyst and Medical Examiner for Medical Disability Evaluations (MDE).
